Hello all Elvis Fans! Thank you very much for visiting my Elvis-site. It took a lot of hard work and time but I really love it and enjoy sharing pictures, news, and Elvis information with you. Let me tell you a little bit about me. I'm a sixteen year old guy from Colorado, which is in the USA. I attend High School, I'm a junior. My biggest hobby is Elvis. I'm a collector, listener and movie-go-er. I love all his work in movies and music. I respect what he has done for the world and popular culture. He is someone I look up to tremendously, I really aim to be like him in life. He was well-mannered, good-looking, charming, and a great person in every category of life. He has showed me what not to do in life too. I love all of his songs, espically his vocal performances and rockabilly stuff from the 1950's. My favorite movie by far is King Creole, but I got into him by watching Jailhouse Rock. I also really like Girl Happy, Double Trouble and Blue Hawaii. I think my favorite Elvis era is the 1950's because he truley changed the world in the blink of an eye. I own all of his movies, even the tough one to get (It Happened at the World's Fair). I own tons of collectibles that have taken my whole life to collect. My two goals of Elvis merchandise is to one day have every Elvis movie: poster, soundtrack, vhs and dvd. And my second is to one day get something he once owned or autographed. I think one day in my house I will have an Elvis Room, with just all my elvis stuff. My most prized collectable is, well, actually all my stuff is my prized collectable. I think I would give up all I own just to meet the man and spend a day with him. If I had one moment, and only one, to say one thing to him, it wouldn't be how much I like him, or about all my stuff it would simply be: "I respect everything you've done and the person you are". And then I'd like to shake his hand. Thank you for letting me share all my thoughts. Please visit the site often, thank you so much for visiting.
My Life and Being an Elvis Fan!
I have one big family but to whom I'd like to talk about briefly. Without them putting up with my hobby, all of this may not be possible! When I was three years old, my parents rented 'Jailhouse Rock'. Any Elvis fan knows that 'Jailhouse Rock' is his best performance next to 'King Creole' and 'Loving You' in a dramatic role. So it is no wonder that it had such a lasting impact on me. The scene, I know for a fact, that did me in was when he does the dance number for 'Jailhouse Rock'. When he is on the table and slides down with his moves, I still think it the coolest thing I'll ever see! Anyways, a big thank you and I love you goes to my parents Dave and Linda because without that moment, ofcourse having me to, my whole life would be different! Also thank you and lots of love to my brother Chris and sisters, Debi, Jenni, Becky and Jess. We have been like an episode of the Brady Bunch since my folks married and some how they have all put up with me. I have no idea how hard it must be for them to act interested sometimes when I go into Elvisology, lol! Thanks guys! Sometimes you can make fun of me but I have to take that, lol. My family would not be complete without a mention of first, my grandmother! We have many family members in the Southern United States, and if it wasn't for her family reunion planning in 2000 I never would have gone to Memphis, nor, would I have possibly gone in August 2002! She has also been someone who supports me and the Elvis hobby. She sends me news articles and fun stuff I'd never be able to get from anywhere else! Speaking of news articles, all of my family in the South that I unfortunately can't name because there are so many of you. Thank you for always remembering me when you read your paper and see something Elvis! Especially Aunt Cornelia from MS! Finally, I want to say hi to my nephews and niese. Eric, Cody, Brandon and my cupcake Raylin! You have changed my life in great ways and I look forward to encouraging all of you to listen to Elvis, lol! Thanks to all my friends and other family members who are going un-named! My friends, especially! Some of my closest friends have to put up with my dorkey side when they come over, lol, but thanks for always being supportive of my interest(s)!
