Las Vegas 1969!

Welcome to The Concerts!  This is the third decade of Elvis, and the final one. After an amazing break out in the 1950's, a stint in Army, 28 movies and one incredible comeback special, Elvis was finally ready to hit the road and tour. He wanted the closness of a live audience again. In 1969 he was offered a three week engagment contract in Las Vegas. He accepted eagerly. With a new band, look, and outfit, Elvis showed the true performer in him. He broke all attendance records for Las Vegas, then returned not long after his first engagment and did it again, breaking his own record. Elvis was the hot ticket in the ealry 70's. On this page you'll get a schedule of Elvis' entire touring from 1969 to 1977. The schedule is only the beginning and end dates of his tours. The schedule must have been very tough on Elvis and you can tell why the touring definitly had a toll on his health and condition. He stayed true to his fans in the end. Fighting drug abuse, overweight eating habits and failed realtionships, Elvis always sang his heart out for the fans. The stage was truley Elvis' home!
